Members of United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 96 perform essential duties for the Federal Government in support roles to the United States Coast Guard.  Their duties include non-law enforcement and non-military roles in search and rescue missions, boating education, vessel safety checks, marine safety and environmental protection, and verifying the condition and location of aids to navigation.

 

The Flotilla's Area of Operations covers the area from Clam Pass North of Naples (Lat. 26.13N -

Lon. 81.49W) to Matanzas Pass at Fort Myers Beach (Lat. 26.28N - Lon. 81.58W) and adjacent inland bays and rivers.

 

The Flotilla meets at 7 p.m. on the third Wednesday of every month at the Wiggins Pass Flotilla Building located at

13531 Vanderbilt Drive
